“I have only incredible things to say about Compass and the staff here. It is so rare to find a group of folks working together (especially in the healthcare field) who are genuinely happy, supportive, patient, knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. Everyone from group therapists to prescribers, individual therapists to front desk staff are incredibly helpful and wonderful to work with. Before I started here, I sort of rolled my eyes at the positive reviews, thinking “how could a program change your life?” And now post-discharge, being on the other side, I can confidently say I feel an immense change in myself and it is thanks to the incredible staff working here, but also myself for putting in the time, energy, and effort. This program is not easy, it may be one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done. But having the continuous daily support and structure that allowed for me to apply and work on myself was what made the difference. I learned so much about myself, not only in individual sessions, but in the group space as well. I am so grateful for what I’ve gained from this program, and all the hard work was worth it to feel like myself again. I’ve learned such valuable skills and ways of thinking that I will continue to build on outside of this program that I can take with me forever. On my final day, one of the group therapists said I am the perfect example of a Compass success story, and I’m extremely proud to see it in myself and that others can see it in me, too!”
“I have compass and myself to thank for being here today. I am thriving more than I ever have before. I completed the program about 6 months ago. When I came here I was holding on by the most vulnerable, tangled, and thinnest thread. Compass didn't solve all my issues(I still have most of the same day to day problems today!) what they did was give me the tools and skills to react to situations differently. To know that I do have control over my behavior. That change is possible, and that I am worthy of being here. I'm working, kicking butt, and always looking down at my ring that is a compass as a reminder that I am strong and I made it. This program was so well organized and really catered to everyone's specific needs, it wasn't a cookie cutter fits all program. Everything I needed was in one place. I also had my own voice there. Everyone there was professional, friendly, and truly troopers for doing a job that saves lives. Thanks compass I always kiss my hand and put it towards the sky when I pass by. It is what it is, now what?”
“This is a fake name for purposes of privacy. This facility is unequivocally flawed, from staff to the actual treatment. While I cannot speak on behalf of the other locations, this particular adolescent side provided absolutely no consolation or support. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and seemingly incompetent. There were multiple occasions in which I had to correct the staff for teaching a skill wrong, and Candace decided to try to make it a point to embarrass me because she couldn’t handle me correcting her. This is not limited to me, she also treated other patients with similar disrespect. The PHP program has arbitrary rules that hindered the healing process. For example, in group process you are forbidden from speaking of pretty much anything controversial or deep, which defeats the entire purpose of process because these are the topics that people really want to talk about. The intake clientele were extremely rude on the phone and interrupted frequently. I have been twice and this happened on both occasions. Additionally, staff is required to not leave any child alone in the room for any amount of time. I was sleeping on the windowsill, which the staff acknowledged, and when they took a bathroom break I was left alone for ten minutes because nobody remembered to wake me up. While this was fine for me personally, other adolescents may not have had the same level of restraint and it could have been a safety concern. Please, for your sake or your child’s, steer clear of this facility. Again, special shoutout to Candace for being an absolute nightmare, and shoutout to Candace and JC for being utterly and completely incompetent.”
“My daughter was enrolled at this location for their PHP program in January. I first met with my daughter on 3/31/2026, over two months after she entered this facility. We had gone through a not fun divorce and her mother has intentionally not provided this facility with my contact information. I met the therapist on 3/30/2026. I was very dissappointed with the overall experience. The facility never reached out to me until they realized I was the one paying the bill. By the time they acknowledge me, they had already put my relationship with my daughter into a terrible position due to their duration of time they did not include me in her therapy. My daughter learned some new skills, however she has regressed in several other areas so badly I need to bring her to another group to address the significant lack of therapy on these topics. I am a teacher who works with students just like my daughter and the population this group serves. Her therapist is hitting the bullseye on some wrong targets. They don't care about father rights nor do they care about doing the right thing for the student. Terrible Now I see that someone from ownership has responded to this post. I have not heard from you, how are you going to fix this problem?”
