About Scenic City Neurotherapy

Ketamine is an anesthetic. While its safety has been proven time and again over its 50 years of use in anesthesia practices all over the world, there is always a risk when receiving anesthesia in any form. That is why Scenic City Neurotherapy exclusively employs the expertise of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologists (CRNAs) to administer treatments to patients. These are the same anesthesia providers that administer safe and cost-effective anesthesia in every hospital and surgery center in Chattanooga, TN. CRNA’s have been administering and developing safe anesthesia practices for 120 years and are imperative in keeping patients safe and our costs among the most affordable in the nation. Our experienced and compassionate providers possess the skills necessary to keep you safe and comfortable throughout the treatment process.

Finally, we want to assure our patients that our primary goal is first and foremost a remission of symptoms whether depressive disorder or pain. If we feel that our services are not in your best interests, we will let you know. We will not waste your time and money on treatments that are not leading you to a better quality of life.

What patients say on Google

“My review is coming from the perspective of someone who has witnessed two people I care about deeply heal under Charles and his team's care. 1. My mother-in-law began ketamine treatments over a year ago. In all the time I've known her, I've never seen a transformation so distinctive in my life. She has experienced more difficulty than anyone should in their life, and to witness the person she's become, not just for my wife but for her grandchildren, has been really special. 2. My wife has been getting treatments, and I've absolutely loved the results I have witnessed as well. I am signed up to begin my own treatments in the weeks ahead. My wife and I both experienced a very difficult health scare with our son. It is so great to know that small cities like Chattanooga have access to incredible care and professionals like Scenic City Neurotherapy.”

“Exceptional staff across the board. Charles and Brian are incredible providers, Connie, the receptionist is a joy to talk to and be welcomed by every time I go for an infusion, or need to call and make an appointment, every tech is kind and diligent, it is simply the best medical environment I have ever received service from, can’t recommend it enough.”

“⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ This is not a cure!! I normally do not leave reviews containing personal information but I believe its important and worth sharing. I have waited a month since my last session in an attempt to leave a fair review. If you've made it to this review, let's be honest, you're hurting and looking for a solution. Knowing where you are, I'll be as honest and thorough as possible. If you're like me you have been suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc since you were young. You've been to therapy, been on medications, changed your environment, changed partners, set lofty goals of resolution, been labeled different things by different professionals, cold turkeyed the medications because they make you feel ( insert side effects here), purchased self hell/help books, you have detrimentally self medicated with substances, people, addictions, etc in your own effort to regulate your chemicals and grab some dopamine. You've had fleeting moments/days that you felt "normal " and "IT" was not lurking above you like a storm cloud . You remember these days because your immediate thought was " I feel too good. How bad is this low going to be tomorrow? Tonight!?" If you're also like me and from the South, you have been dunked, dipped, sprinkled, washed, baptized and probably still have an anointed prayer cloth in your pillowcase... yet the " Devil" and his minions still manage to drag you back into depression. By now you are also hosting a nasty brain parasite called the inner critic. It's the voice that's louder than all the others , it's awake 24/7, and it's wide open like the Waffle House next to a strip club at 2am. It's only purpose in life is to constantly Remind You and Grind You . It gnaws at you with " you're not good enough, you're unworthy, unlovable, untouchable, without value " and my personal favourite " This is hopeless. Why go on?" If you identified with any or most of what I wrote above, keep reading and I'm proud of you. I can't believe you and I have managed to live this long. If you didn't identify, the rest will bore you. For me, after treatment has felt like a 90 day crash course in Buddhism or stoicism. All the thoughts I had been looping and attaching emotions to suddenly became less pronounced and overwhelming. I can now see the thought, be present with it , but not be guided by the emotions the mental narrative is creating. I am able to get out of bed and practice active daily living.(Bathe, brush teeth, eat) My racing thoughts are manageable. My suicidal ideations are rarely present. Hopelessness no longer hovers for long periods. My emotions feel regulated without severe ups and downs. The inner critic is present, but the volume has been significantly turned down. It's lifted depression's foot off my neck long enough for me to start putting mental hygiene in place. That sounds amazing, but you said ITS NOT A CURE. Because it's not, it's a TOOL, a catalysts. Ketamine stimulates the brain and promotes growth of new pathways. It begins reconnecting and communicating with itself again. It's a soft reboot to help the brain identify missing updates or recover saved passwords. It's a great tool, but there are other required tools in the box. So, I mentioned mental hygiene. What is it? Along with the treatments I have a daily routine, not to be missed that includes meditation , grounding exercises in nature with physical activity, gratitude journaling, and seeing a therapist every (2) two weeks. I have committed to my mental health and well being, instead of being a helpless onlooker. The staff at Scenic are solid , caring people. Charles Miller is very knowledgeable, honest and meets you where you are in life's process. I could talk to him for hours about the brain. Brian is amazing and genuinely cares about people who are suffering. Connie is always warm and kind. This process has given me hope at life again. Isn't that why you read this review in the first place? Call Scenic for the consult. Charles will shoot you straight if they can help. All the best in healing.”

“I simply can't give enough stars. The staff here have almost become like family to me in the short time I've been under their care. To say they go above and beyond is an understatement. Not only have the treatments I've received changed my life, the staff have been with me every step of the way, listened to me, and supported me through everything. I've never felt so cared for and listened to in a setting like this. I highly recommend anyone struggling with mental health to look into this place specifically! Thank you Dr. Charles and Dr. Brian, and the rest of the team for being a light in the world!”
