What patients say on Google

“Very disappointing experience I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Psychotherapy Care Center. I had an appointment scheduled with my psychiatrist, but I was contacted the day before and told that the provider was unavailable, so I had to reschedule. After rescheduling, I was contacted again and told that the provider was unavailable once more, and I was asked to reschedule again. I was given the option to see a different provider, which I agreed to try. Unfortunately, I missed that appointment because I fell asleep, and I take responsibility for that part. However, the larger issue is that I had already been repeatedly rescheduling appointments because of provider availability, and I eventually ran out of my prescribed medication. For psychiatric patients, medication management and timely follow-up are extremely important. Being left without medication because appointments repeatedly cannot be maintained is very concerning. I understand that providers can have emergencies or scheduling conflicts, but when cancellations happen repeatedly and a patient is running out of medication, I believe the office should have a reliable way to make sure the patient is not left without appropriate medical follow-up. I hope the practice takes this seriously and improves its scheduling and medication-management communication. Patients should not have to repeatedly chase the office when they are depending on their psychiatric provider for ongoing care.”
