What patients say on Google

“This was my last ditch effort. I had depression for years and multiple medications hadn’t done anything. I decided I wanted to feel happy again and I was willing to try something different. Dr Husted explained how it worked and exactly what a treatment would entail. It was done in his office, with a nurse , a comfy chair, a very safe and comfortable environment. I had no fear because I was at the end of my rope. Feeling like I did everyday was no longer a life I wanted to live. I hooked up with a therapist recommended by Dr Husted and I started my journey. I had 5 treatments which were spread out further than I wanted but encompassed the Christmas holiday season. After the first treatment I didn’t feel much different but I was determined to give it a chance. After the second treatment I had about 5 days of what I would describe as a veil being lifted. I felt happy. I was thrilled. After the 3rd treatment I felt terrible. I wasn’t feeling better and I was so sure, I had gone all in and now I doubted it was going to make me better. I was feeling crushed. But I kept going. Slowly, subtly the fog lifted. After the fifth treatment I was a new person. I was actually happy. It had been so long I had almost forgotten what that was like. It was the miracle I had been hoping for. I am so thankful to Dr Husted and my therapist for guiding me and providing me with a safe and effective treatment that my conventional treatment doctors had failed to offer me.”

“After having a difficult experience with another provider during my initial ketamine treatments, I was understandably nervous about continuing therapy. Finding Dr. Evan at Mindstream Medicine completely changed my perspective. From my very first appointment, Dr. Evan was compassionate, thorough, and took the time to make sure I felt informed, comfortable, and most importantly, safe. He never rushed me or made me feel like just another patient. Every treatment follows a thoughtful routine that helps create a calm, supportive environment. The little details make a huge difference—the frozen lemon to hold during treatment, the weighted blanket, and the aromatherapy all help make the experience feel grounding and intentional. You can tell that Dr. Evan genuinely cares about ketamine therapy as a tool for healing trauma, depression, and improving mental health. He isn't pushy or focused on selling treatments the way some clinics can be. Instead, he listens, answers questions, and is truly invested in each patient's progress. That level of care extends to the wonderful nurses he works with as well. They consistently make me feel welcome, comfortable, and well cared for. If you're looking for ketamine therapy in Philadelphia, Fishtown, Pennsylvania, or even South Jersey, I can't recommend Mindstream Medicine enough. For anyone who may be anxious because of a previous experience or is considering ketamine treatment for the first time, this is the kind of practice that makes you feel safe, respected, and supported throughout the entire process. I'm incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Evan and his team, and I recommend them without hesitation”

“My husband recently came to Dr Evan for his ketamine treatments and we absolutely would recommend him to anyone who’s considering getting this done. My husband has Tourette and has had a life long battle with OCD and other personal traumas. We previously went to a clinic in New York but what a difference this one is compared to the other one. We connected with Dr Evan at the very first meeting, and my husband loves him because he is so passionate and genuinely cares about his patients. He’s not pushy, he listens and he makes people feel like their struggles matters. The ketamine treatments were able to help my husband stay calmer while he restarted his medication to manage his tics. It also helped him talk about things that he has been struggling with like the passing of his mom. Overall, if you are considering getting this done, it’s important to get it done with a professional who genuinely cares..”

“Anyone can benefit from Ketamine treatment, Dr Evan and his nurses are extremely professional, compassionate and good-hearted. Dr. Evan is not only a licensed doctor with a lot of clinical medical experience, he is an experienced Ketamine patient and true-believer of the medicine which is why he started Mindstream. He offers very reasonable prices for both IV (intravenous) and IM (intramuscular at a slight discount), both of which worked well for me and are considered much more effective than the nasal spray. Most importantly its a safe, clean, convenient and comfortable environment where a caregiver is not just worried about extracting money from your pocket unlike many Ketamine clinics. Ketamine is a valuable medicine that can help anyone with mood disorders and trauma which we all have (and also those without, anyone can benefit). It can be a very useful psychedelic introspective moment that can give you a lot of insight into life and help with depression, anxiety and PTSD. As with any psychedelics, being in positive, safe environment with good people can make all the difference in your experience. The quality of his headphone selection with good relaxing music (or you can bring your own), comfortable chairs and blankets and sanitized eye masks and aromatherapy are all part of a curated experience. He is also open with his communication and has a flexible schedule. He really cares and has a deep understanding of the medicine to be your guide with dosing and other concerns, and compassionate/understanding of neurodivergent people. He's also a funny family man with good taste in shows/movies. If you're suffering (or even if not), don't wait, give Dr. Evan a call. I'd recommend anyone and all my friends Ketamine therapy, and if they decide to do it, to come to Evan. I intend to gift a treatment to my best friend and mother.”
