What patients say on Google
“I went for what would have been my first infusion today. When I was taken to the treatment area I was appalled. It was a jamb packed little area with hospital recliners open to each other and zero privacy. Every patients monitors were beeping loundly. The area was FILTHY. Employees half finished drinks sitting around. Trash all over counters. Gross. I watched one person start two IVs without washin hands in between. Yes, she wore gloves but there is protocol. The whole thing was a money grab. I called the doc over and told him I thought the place was one huge HIPPA violation. These aren’t vitamin infusions. This is an intense psychiatric treatment that I don’t consider a group activity. Sadly, the people being treated there may not have known they deserved far better. Deeply depressed patients often don’t feel they deserve anything. Chronic pain patients are desperate for relief. I got up and left. I’m debating whether to report to Texas State Board of medicine. I’m angry, disappointed and just plain sad at the way this place was run. BTW, I was an RN for 29 years and so know a proper clinical setting when I see one. This was NOT it.”
