“My nurse practitioner/prescriber is wonderful! The lack of responsiveness from support staff is disheartening. I had insurance questions and wanted to change therapists. I sent emails & messages via the patient portal, received no response at all for over a week. When I did get a response, I was told therapist was reset and it was not. Long response times that don’t resolve matters is not effective customer service.”

“BEWARE of INNERWELL Sad to say that my first ketamine experience was a flop. INNERWELL was my platform choice as they promised counselors, psychiatric assistants, soundscapes and information on the website, and 8 ketamine doses all for $425. Unfortunately their therapists were not available for 3 to 4 weeks out after a ketamine dose (their site recommends meeting with them within 72 hours of the dose) AND because of the technical issues on their website I was unable to schedule any appointments myself.Those were never resolved by their team and instead I had to email back-and-forth to try to get an appointment. Their first integration therapy available was over three weeks away. Their first psych appointment was over a week away and they make it mandatory prior to being able to receive the last six doses. So they had me try two doses then put me on hold for weeks. Guess what INNERWELL said when I asked to cancel due to their lack of support? They said “In the terms of use, you acknowledged when signing up, when canceling after the 1st shipment, you would be charged $350”. So even if a subscriber cancels due to a failure by INNERWELL to deliver on their treatment plan, INNERWELL will charge them $350. I asked for a partial refund since I had only received two ketamine doses out of eight and NO follow up appointments due to their issues. They didn’t apologize for their issues and charged ME $350. (Only after additional emails did they refund $70… not enough). INNERWELL undermined my treatment, health and well-being. I am now going to try Joyous. They are a completely different company than Innerwell. They seem to offer WAY more on their site and I have had no tech issues as of yet. Fingers crossed that Joyous will be awesome! Follow up: I tried Joyous. Their site is incredibly easy to navigate and I never ran out of my medication. I really enjoy the Joyous platform and community.”

“Caveat emptor! I should’ve known better than to pay for a product before I’d spoken with a company representative/intake counselor, but that’s how this company operates. I paid almost $800 to schedule my intake assessment/place my order. After my intake, I felt a clinical setting was the better option. The support during treatment seemed iffy at best, non-existent at worst, so I asked to cancel my order and get a refund. No problem. Except they kept nearly 50% of the almost $800 to cover the very surface, 30 minute intake session. What “therapist” charges $800 an hour? I’d recommend going through Innerwell for ketamine therapy ONLY IF YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that home-based therapy is the right option for you.”
