“I am in LMFT in Santa Cruz, California. I was never a patient here; I got in the system and then changed my mind before I had any services. I frequently get these patient surveys and I can’t even log in. My white relative loves a doctor there and that is who I was trying to see. Now, when I call, even when I put in the extension, it hangs up on me. I referred an adult client (of color), and their request for services was denied. Then this person never received a response. I called to advocate for them and ask what happened. I never received a response and I was the referring provider. At this point all I see is racism. I will be filing a complaint with the board and the Better Business Bureau today.”
