How likely are you to recommend The Rivus Wellness & Research Institute?
What patients say on Google
“My doctors, nurses, and front desk ladies are 5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m only putting for cause rivus as a company kinda need to work on their logistics I’ve been seeing Danielle Kuykendall for almost three years, and she is truly the best therapist I’ve ever had. She makes me feel completely safe and understood, and I’ve never once felt judged or talked down to. She uses different modalities in a way that feels really natural and tailored to me, and what stands out most is how she actually engages. She talks with you, not at you, and doesn’t just sit there silently. It feels like a real, supportive conversation, which made it so much easier for me to open up. She also knows exactly when to offer guidance and when to just listen, and her input is always thoughtful and genuinely helpful. I’d really recommend giving it more than one session if you’re considering her. The trust and connection she builds over time is something special. Dr. Eddie has been one of the most collaborative and respectful providers I’ve worked with. She actually listens to my ideas and takes them seriously, especially when it comes to medication options. Instead of shutting things down or pushing her own agenda, she’s open to exploring possibilities with me and talking through what makes sense together. I never feel talked down to or dismissed, which is huge. It really feels like a team approach where my input matters and my experience is valued. That kind of trust and openness has made a big difference in how comfortable I feel in treatment. I’m really grateful to have found someone who is both knowledgeable and genuinely willing to work with me.”
“I wanted to like these people but I don’t. First appointment I tried to explain my medical history and current issues. Was constantly interrupted and talked over. I was in a lot of pain and could hardly walk. Needed an MRI and xray for my back and hip. Scheduled a follow up appointment for 2 weeks to have time to get blood test and other test results back. A week before I called to see where the mri was sent to as I had not heard anything. Left a voicemail with the nurse and never heard back. Called several times. Then a couple days before the appointment they said they didn’t have the results yet and I told them I am waiting to see who it was sent to as I never heard back. The next day I got a call to go in for the mri. I went to the follow up appointment and went over blood tests and went back again for mri results and she went over blood test again and when she was wrapping up the appointment I asked about the MRI results she said oh yeah now I remember who you are. She said she was referring me to orthopedist and never did, called left message about it and never heard back. Called about getting my records and was told I would be charged 10 cents a page. This place is an absolute sham, so much incompetence, so rude, complete nightmare. I am in severe pain, I can hardly walk sit or lay down just constant unbearable pain and now have to wait 7 weeks for an appointment with a real doctor and pay 10 cents a page to get her my test results so I can get my referral done. I hope karma comes quickly for them.”
“For over a year, my daughter suffered from unexplained seizures. We saw neurologists, endocrinologists and several other specialists, made multiple ER visits, endured several ambulance rides per week, and spent thousands on doctors who weren't even covered by our insurance. Time after time we were told, "Everything looks fine," or "There's nothing more we can do." Meanwhile, her entire life was turned upside down. She had to quit cheerleading and leave school, and as her mom, I felt completely helpless watching her lose the life she loved. Then, through a referral from her sister, we found Rivus. Dr. Foster is truly a medical detective. She didn't settle for treating symptoms—she was determined to find the cause. It took a few months of carefully putting the pieces together, but she found the answer. She started Layla on the right treatment, and she hasn't had a single seizure in the last four months. Today, she's back in cheer, her confidence is returning, and she's finally getting her life back. Watching her smile again has been nothing short of a miracle. Our entire family now goes to Rivus because we have never felt so genuinely seen, heard, and cared for by a medical team. Dr. Foster is brilliant, compassionate, and persistent, and her staff is absolutely amazing. They treat you like family, not just another patient. We will forever be grateful for everything they've done for our daughter. Thank you for giving her life back.”
“They are unprofessional and they refuse to listen to the patients. They book multiple appointments for the same time slots and expect you to wait an hour or more past your appointment time. Every month I have to fight with them and make multiple phone calls to get my prescriptions called in. Then its another 3 phone calls to get them to call them into the correct pharmacy. They have you fill out a questionnaire when you arrive, and the person you're seeing never bothers to look at it. Today, I terminated their services because when I tried to talk to office manager about the way I was treated she got defensive and accused me of yelling (my throat is hoarse because everyone in my house has been sick for a week.) I was told my prescriptions would be called into the correct pharmacy. I get home only to find out they called them into their in house pharmacy, even though I told the office manager specifically not to do that. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They would rather put you on MDMA, magic mushrooms, and ketamine (It's right front and center on their web page) instead of putting you on an FDA approved medication. They need to do a serious examination of both their business, and their hiring practices.”
