What patients say on Google

“My son and I have been seen here for at least ten years to treat depression, anxiety, adult ADHD and psychotic episodes. We were given Spect scans to evaluate our brains and prescribed meds. We were also referred for behavioral therapy. We went to the Neuroscience Center for help after we suffered a sudden traumatic family event . We were given tools to help us deal with the emotions. Dr. Best and his staff have been very supportive and patient when we have been challenging to deal with. We are very thankful to have been treated at the Center. They are two hours from our home but we find it worth the travel time to receive their expertise. BV”

“I’ve known Dr. Best for 25 years. I was under his care as an adolescent, and I recently returned to his care as an adult. Dr. Best and his crew have taken excellent care of me. Dr. Best is a good guy. He will go the extra mile with you. He’s also brilliant. The staff are very warm, caring, and professional.”

“I first met Dr. Best in 2018 when I was at the lowest point of my life. He looked me in the eyes and said that he could get me better. This man and his staff saved my life. The Neuroscience center works miracles. Dr. Best and his staff are truly remarkable. I look forward to going to the Neuroscience Center knowing I am getting the best care out there. Fast forward 5 years and I am a seasoned veteran here. Dr. Best is a pioneer, which is why other doctors and clinics may tend to have a different view than his own. I have seen countless lives get saved here and continue to see it. Financing these treatments is not the easiest and can be challenging. I understand the frustration with some reviews. Please note that Dr. Best is not a crook. He is kind, empathetic, and cares about you and his craft. Insurance companies are the real crooks!”

“It has been a long time since i’ve met with this doctor. Unfortunately it has taken me a long time to recover from the things that occurred under his care. My family and I have endured countless gaslighting, manipulation and financial burden at his practice. In the 6 months I saw this individual he would frequently tell me that I would never be able to function in society “in my current state” without his help. He also talked down to my other providers directly, insulting their competence, breaking confidentiality without reason, and repeatedly telling me about his personal life / relationships. He has a reputation from other clinics for his concerning practices. The data he cites are studies he has conducted himself. Unfortunately he incorrectly dosed multiple medications and this left me very sick for a very long time. It took years for me to recover physically from his treatments, and many other multi-speciality doctors to repair what has happened. To anyone reading this, before considering care with this person do a full licensure search and note anything you see that could be considered a “red flag”. Look for name changes, other reviews, “kick backs” for medication/treatment he prescribes. Also consider the inherently defensive nature of the responses to criticism. Consider his insurance limitations, cost of services, and ask yourself if it is worth the risk.”
